HOW MUCH DANCE EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
A ton, some or none!
We welcome all levels and allow all levels to shine within the performance.
We tailor the routine, and video directing to ensure everyone is challenged, confident, and happy with the result.
We eventually plan to have levelled productions, but we welcome and encourage all to join our all levels.
There’s something for everyone.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You’ll need to bring dance style appropriate shoes, your willingness to challenge yourself, and good energy!!

ARE YOU A DANCE STUDIO?
Not exactly — we’re a performance AND production studio. Calgary already has incredible dance studios (and we love working with many of them!).
Our focus is on performance technique, camera presence, and creative production. We don’t compete — we complement.
WILL I BE PERFORMING?
Kind of — just not in the traditional sense. While there’s no live audience, you will be performing in front of the camera, and that audience can be just as big (if not bigger!).
At mckenziex, “performance” doesn’t just mean being on stage — it means showing up as your best self, whether it’s under the lights or in front of the lens.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO THE VIDEO?
PERFORMANCE PRODUCTIONS (star + pro plans):
Final videos from the shoot will be delivered within two weeks of the video production recording date.
RUSH DELIVERY
Option to expedite the delivery of the video for an additional fee.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION + REFUND POLICY?
Cancellations made with 14 or more days’ notice before the session start will receive a 50% refund, while those made with less than 14 days’ notice are non-refundable. This allows us time to fill your performance slot.

ANY MEDICAL EXCEPTIONS TO THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that medical situations can arise unexpectedly.
With a valid doctor’s note, you may be eligible for credit toward a future session, subject to management’s discretion.
To ensure timely support, please submit your request within 48 hours of the diagnosis.
