At mckenziex we offer unique dance experiences focused on high-level performance training for video. We help dancers of all levels build confidence on and off screen.
We believe everyone deserves to feel confident in themselves as an individual and a performer.
Whether you’re stepping into the spotlight for the first time, or stepping into a version of yourself you’ve never seen before—this is a space where you’re supported, celebrated, and free to grow.
Founder, Madison Mckenzie Smith’s dance journey began at 13 when she started her first job to pay for dance classes.
“Ever since I started dance training and performing, I’ve been hooked. But if I wanted to dance, I had to work for it, and I’ve been doing both ever since. Performing doesn’t just give me skills; it builds my confidence and transforms how I show up in life. I want to give others more opportunities to experience the same.” – Madison
With over 20+ years of experience in performance, and a professional background in customer experience, marketing, and operations, she created this mckenziex to help others gain more confidence through performance training and video productions.
At mckenziex, ‘performance’ doesn’t just mean performing for the camera. It means performing our best through every stage of the training process.

WHY MCKNEZIEX
mckenziex began as my stage name—my performance persona.
I’ve always believed that stepping into the spotlight brings out a version of ourselves that’s bold, fearless, and fully alive.
For many, that energy feels completely different from our everyday selves, and that’s the magic of performance.
It started with “Mckenzie”, my middle name. The “X”? That’s where the magic is.
X can be any value, a symbol of limitless potential and the freedom to become whoever you need to be.
It’s also a nod to Roman numeral X (10). A reminder to always bring a 10/10 in energy, effort, and expression.
mckenziex isn’t just a name, it’s a mindset.
