My own journey began at 13, working my first job to pay for dance classes. I didn’t come from privilege—I came from persistence. When health challenges sidelined my training in what should’ve been my prime, I thought that chapter was closing. But it wasn’t the end—it was the beginning of something deeper. In my late 20s, I returned to dance, stepped back into the arena, and started winning again—but this time with a mindset centered on resilience, joy, and holistic performance.
With over 20+ years of experience in performance—and a professional background in customer experience, marketing, and operations—I created this company to help others rediscover themselves through movement and storytelling. Here, “performance” doesn’t just mean being on stage. It means showing up fully—for yourself, your body, and your growth. It’s about becoming the most expressive, grounded, and confident version of who you are.

WHY MCKNEZIEX
mckenziex began as my stage name—my performance persona.
I’ve always believed that stepping into the spotlight brings out a version of ourselves that’s bold, fearless, and fully alive.
For many, that energy feels completely different from our everyday selves—and that’s the magic of performance.
It started with “Mckenzie”—my middle name. The “X”? That’s where the magic is.
X can be any value—a symbol of limitless potential and the freedom to become whoever you need to be.
It’s also a nod to Roman numeral X = 10—a reminder to always bring a 10/10 in energy, effort, and expression.
